Unveiling the 2024 NPC and FPC Jersey

This season we look to our rich red and black history for inspiration.

Our 2024 jersey is reintroducing the touches of gold from our infamous 1997 jersey, to highlight Canterbury’s gold standard both on and off the field. It also proudly displays the names of all 48 clubs that make up the union, within the red hoops.

“We’re proud to continue to show the important connection we have with our clubs, by keeping them visible each time our players take to the field,” says Tony Smail, Canterbury Rugby Chief Executive, “Highlighting the history of Canterbury rugby by bringing back elements of the 1997 jersey keeps us connected to our heritage. It reminds us we’re building on a legacy that has been around for 145 years”.
