Progression and experience in the 2024 FPC coaches line up

We are thrilled to announce that Solomona (Mona) Paraki will be stepping up as the new 2024 FPC Head Coach for the season, marking a promising progression as Paraki transitions from his previous role as the attack coach. His extensive background in the women’s game, coupled with his enthusiasm and commitment, makes him a perfect fit to help the team grow and showcase their talents during the upcoming Farah Palmer Cup, presented by Bunnings Warehouse.

“It’s an honour. I feel very privileged to take this role” says Paraki, “I am aware there is some expectation of our team and I’m excited to build on the legacy the team has”.

Mona will have a strong coaching team supporting him for the upcoming FPC campaign. Simon Kneebone's return from coaching in the Shute Shield in Australia brings valuable experience to his role as Forwards Coach. His involvement with the Crusaders Academy and Women's Academy highlights his commitment to player development, which will be crucial for enhancing the team's forward play.Anna Livingstone's transition to the Defence coaching role indicates a strategic move to further develop her coaching expertise. Her previous experience in a resource coaching role in 2023 has prepared her well for this new challenge. Anna’s insights and defensive strategies are expected to contribute significantly to our team's performance.

Our last Coach is Larissa Muldoon who comes to us from Ireland Rugby Football Union. Her experience both as an international player and an established coach with the IRFU Women's U18 team will bring a wealth of knowledge and insight to the FPC team. Muldoon will be stepping into the role of Resource Coach and focusing on further developing her coaching skills while connecting with the group.

The combined efforts of Mona, Simon, Anna and Larissa are set to shape a formidable coaching team. We eagerly look forward to witnessing their impact on the field and the exciting journey ahead for our team.
