Rugby in Canterbury
Split across three sections, Junior, Teenage and Senior, our Community game has something for everyone. We encourage our participants to jump into the game and give everything a go!
For the Juniors, Under 6 through to Under 13, our game is adapted to suit our little ones, with Small Blacks law variations, as well as dedicated Rip Rugby Grades to both introduce and keep kids interested in our game. Our Teenage section covers our Under 14’s through to the Under 18’s, including both the Miles Toyota Cup and Championship competitions too. Senior Rugby is home to everything else, covering both Men’s and Women’s rugby from Classics to Premiers.

Coach
The players can’t do what they do without their coach, and there’s always opportunities to get involved in coaching! It’s a very rewarding way to help the next, the current and the past generation build on their game.
-
Referee
Referees are integral to the game, we wouldn’t be able to play without them. We’re always on the lookout for the next person to take up the whistle and take their spot in the best seat in the house!
-
Volunteer
Volunteers are amazing club members who put in hours long after the bar has closed and the lights have turned off. Clubs are always on the lookout for volunteer help, find your nearest club now to lend a helping hand!
