Codie Taylor

213.jpg
An impressive young player with surprising speed for a hooker, Codie Taylor debuted with Canterbury in 2012.
He has really grown season on season and gained beneficial experience packing down between players of the calibre of All Blacks props Owen Franks and Wyatt Crockett. That saw him selected for the Crusaders in 2013, after being part of the wider training squad in 2012.
HIs growth and huge potential have not gone unnoticed by national selectors, with Codie representing the Maori All Blacks, and then making his debut for the All Blacks in 2015 and finding himself with a spot in the Rugby World Cup squad that year.

Taylor was also part of the Junior All Blacks team which won the 2011 IRB Junior World Championship.
Taylor's great great grandfather, Walter Peter Pringle, also represented New Zealand, playing five games against Australian state and invitational sides in 1893.
